Subject: What America Lost

Steve,

To date in Operation Iraqi Freedom, the United States has lost over 1372 military personnel. 13 of these soldiers and airmen were from our unit. I’m not sure if everybody back home thinks about the fact that for every number, there was a person. I hope everybody remembers that.
